Sometimes the Public Safety Awareness Program works exactly as intended.
Nayra received a Capsule Driving Licence Revocation Notice after an unsafe capsule navigation incident. Under normal circumstances, this may result in several common reactions: confusion, silence, mild irritation, creative insults, or a formal complaint written entirely with emotional thrusters overheated.
This case was different.
Instead of salt, Nayra responded with good humor. She laughed, recognized the story behind the notice, and confirmed that the message was received in exactly the right spirit. Even better, she decided to screenshot the mails for her corpmates.
The Capsule Traffic Authority considers this an excellent educational outcome.
The most important result, however, came shortly after:
“You made me buy a shuttle because I really want to go home today :-D”
This is what progress looks like.
A capsule is not proper travel clothing. Autopilot is not a safety system. A shuttle, however, is a perfectly respectable step toward responsible movement through New Eden. The Authority does not demand perfection. We simply appreciate pilots who learn, laugh, adapt, and continue flying.
For demonstrating exceptional composure, good humor, and immediate improvement in travel safety procedures, Nayra was awarded the Certificate of Good Humor and recognized as a successful participant in the Public Safety Awareness Program.
